Though life in the Army can sometimes be hard, it comes with its perks too. For example, a couple of weeks ago, Dallin and I got to go on a marriage retreat to the Castlebrando, a beautiful castle that had been turned into a hotel. All expenses were paid for us and Dallin got to miss work for three days for going. It was great. The castle was beautiful, we ate some delicious food, and we got to just relax an enjoy time together. We also participated in some marriage classes taught by the chaplain, which were really good too. It was a lovely three days as King and Queen of the Castle!

Wow Queen for a day sounds pretty sweet. Looks like the retreat was fun! I forgot to ask you guys about that! Glad you were able to enjoy some Dal time before all his trainings!
