Sirmione

About one hour's drive away from us lies the largest lake in Italy, Lago di Garda. We have yet to fully discover this truly beautiful area of Italy, but we did recently take a day trip to one of the towns that lies on the lake. We decided to visit the town of Sirmione, a little town that is almost completely surrounded by the lake, except for on one side, making it almost like an island. There's not much to do in Sirmione except for soaking up some sun, admiring the beautiful lake, and taking in the ambiance. The town lies within the walls of a fortress, making it extra picturesque and romantic.

We basically just walked around this super cute town, ate a delicious pizza lunch al fresco, walked along the lake, and finished the day off with some gelato and sorbetto.

The restaurant we ate lunch at.
Pretty Swan.
At the dock.

Walking along the lake.
