On our second day in the Cinque Terre, we visited the last town, Monterosso Al Mare. Monterosso is the most resort-y town of the five, with private beaches and higher price tags. It is also the only one of the towns with a sandy beach.

We began our visit to this town with some yummy lunch. We had delicious seafood again.

After lunch, we all went to the beach and swam in the beautiful water. When the next boat arrived, we hopped on and made our way back to our favorite town, Riomaggiore.

At Riomaggiore, we relaxed on the beach, swam, and got some gelati of course!

We caught the last boat of the day from Riomaggiore to Manarola. The light was so lovely in Manarola. Sooz and I took the rest of our family on the hike we went on the day before to see the lovely views and take pictures.

Dallin actually went to Cinque Terre a third day, he loved it so much. I was feeling sick, and my family wanted to go to Florence, so Dallin went back to the Cinque Terre with some friends who happened to be staying in Lucca as well. He got some great shots that I wanted to share. It was a bit overcast, so the beautiful colors of the towns really popped!

The Cinque Terre is a truly beautiful area of Italy. If you are looking for quaint, Italian villages, sunshine, and the sparkling sea, this is the place that has it all. A must-stop for anyone traveling to Italy. Dallin and I are sure to return!
